the magnus protocol’s theme is so much cooler than the magnus archives and that’s about all that’s better about it

the archivist is such a cool character and I love that he’s the main point of tma. jonah magnus is a great villain too, and besides the. fourth and especially fifth season. the show was great (the only really redeeming quality of the fourth was peter lukas and jonah, honestly, and then you don’t see jonah again until 192 (for about 15 seconds) then until 200, and peter’s dead

still have my issues with the plot but overall its good

the magnus protocol has. issues. cases are mixed bag, some are way better some are way worse (i really liked… either case 3 or 6? i forgot, the one where the guy turns into a plant). but the problem is the show has exactly two good characters and it’s exactly sam and alice and sam gets blasted off at the end of s1 to archivist land and alice doesn’t work as well without sam there which just makes sam the only interesting part of the characters and hes not even there most the time
