I guess I did change the ending a good bit on one of the passion projects i dropped but i think thats part of why i dropped it. i was only 9k words in but did a crazy amount of worldbuilding which i guess i could re-use later

hmm yeah i kinda dont think in those terms at all. my boyfriend does, he definitely likes when stories say something and are written for a purpose like that. I like stories basically entirely on their own / for their own merit which seems simultaenously basic and uncommon
