i was reminded of something when i was talking to squirrel
i probably should read that isn’t either on psychology or humans (as the main subject) to… broaden my horizons.

i need stuff to fidget with or number go up games. sandbox games and CCG games and idle games and gacha games have been my favorite. i like interactivity and i like power fantasy

Nyope
Im playing raid shadow legends
i wont see s5. its just a completely different show. i’ve seen clips and the, like, 20 people standing in a room while 1 person explains something directly to the audience is so ridiculous. it’s like “oops we were too afraid to kill any characters that we didnt just introduce and now we have 20 people standing in a room”
Also i will hatewatch (skim) the last season of the boys just to see who dies
just look it up on a wiki
Ive lost my passion for television of all kind (anime, films, tv series). Older films (2000s and 1990s) give me a sense of comfort, maybe i could watch some of those. Remind me of when i was a kid. The last film i greatly enjoyed was EEAAO back in 2022 or 2023. The last piece of television I enjoyed whatsoever was Ong-Bak (2003) and even then I started skimming at the end
I am finally watching tv shows and experiencing now the “every show becomes a soap opera” phenomenon and I hate it
I enjoyed Princess Bride (1987) too
i feel like after season 1 stranger things turned into slop pretty quickly. i still watched all the seasons because of the fun music and characters and it went down easily but it wasn’t exactly highbrow.
online people complaining it ended badly and im just like “really what did you expect” from a fun mass consumer show. it’s like ordering domino’s and complaining there’s processed food on your pizza.
We loved The Diplomat season 1 and then L + ratio + you fell off. We watch The Bodyguard episode 1 and it seems so good and then immediately it’s nonsense. Blue's Clues
