I like shows set in actual high-stakes jobs and reality shows are noooot that
Survivor as a low stake showā¦
This is the first Iām hearing it described as suchā¦
Right but I donāt like it, it comes across as heavy-handed and condescending and predictable, it is written with the purpose of up a ālife lessonā a writer made up in their head and which I have no reason to trust, rather than just an attempt to realistically show how a personality interacts with a situation. They are shows for children that are trying to communicate to children and I am not a children and thus find this off-putting
I wanna try german raw minced pork with onions on bread SOOOOO bad

. I think minced meat has such a pleasant texture. I wish it was safe to eat here
Itās all pretend! Nobodyās gonna die
I suppose itās less the size of the stakes and more the groundedness, I want it to feel like I am receiving some kind of insight of value into life, and Survivor is playing pretend
Like I donāt want a show where the writer has a Lesson To Communicate and is hitting you on the head with it. I like things that try to depict experiences. And sometimes have hype moments and aura
oh. You meant life and death stakeā¦
(there is big money on Survivor, so itās still not a low-stake gameā¦)
What about Alice in borderland?
Ehhhh not quite life-or-death. Itās just gotta feel real. Either being literally a realism show (political or medical setting) or being a sort of fantasy exaggeration of what real life feels like (Madoka Magica is what being in middle school feels like)
Maybe youād like Cyberpunk Edgerunners
Not with that attitude
THis looks like a sandwich for meā¦
this looks like you forgot that a sandwich is typically supposed to have two sides
Itās not enclosed with bread. It only has stuff on one side of the bread
then thatās closer to āa shitty pizzaā then a sandwich
When you guys eat peanut butter on bread do you always put it between two pieces of bread? I never do that. Too much bread. I use only one slice of bread. And lots of peanut butter and then cocoa spread on top
You donāt have bread on both side to call something a sandwich.
(So a pizza is sandwich by definitionā¦)
Where did it (or I) claim it to be a sandwich?
iām allergic to peanut butter. this is a specific attack on my character. we duel at 5 in the morning
