Years of Flight Rising trained me for this moment. I can say “cerulean” or “shamrock” and I have an exact colour in mind for what that is

i was missing the top-left thing until the end i don’t know if that changed much

Spoiler

I don’t think top left changes the break in, the top left dots are the last ones you place if you’re solving logically

I think for me it was just establishing the central smiley could only be in one direction or the other and i think i just got lucky with my first pick. which meant you need to fix the left side where the central smiley didn’t have.
The light in the top right could only go down to fill the right column
then I realized you just needed to get the lights in the upper two and bottom two rows to fill the empty columns somehow so tbh i was just clicking around with the three dots until i found something that clicked and probably just got lucky with picking which ones

Summary

Ah that makes sense, process-wise I don’t like to place any dots until I’m -sure- it’s the correct spot, even though you can likely easily go faster by gambling on some 50/50s.

for the “purely logical” solution, it’s a matter of realizing there are 6 “columns” you need to light up, and 6 free rows you are able to use - 2 each on the top and bottom, and the middle that is split in half, one on each side. When I realized this, it was clear that the space in the upper right only has 1 valid solution, so placing that gives only one space on the very bottom row, and that leaves only one valid space for the middle, and so on. It just took me a bit to work it out because I was looking for more of a shortcut/quicker solution.

mm if i see it right away i’d play logically, but if there’s a 50/50 and I don’t see a locked path right away i take it lol…
