This feels like a pocket attempt, because that post is pretty solidly NAI to me, although that may just be due to my inherent famiiarity with myself, and being subconciously primed by Catch-22 to think you could be mafia, an idea I hadn’t really considered until that point.

Looking through it in my mental folder of minds, I think this might be in part be a transAtlantic difference in the meaning of the word “quite”, making you sound more confident to me than you intended to come across.
