Our one also counts, right? If suspicion is bubbling toward someone else on the mafia team then I can start a fight with some townie (hopefully an inarticulate one) and suddenly votes can only go on me or the townie for the rest of the day.

My Leafia thing is basically this:
Ages ago, I used postcount tells against Leafia – as wolf, she tends to be wolfread, feel compelled to defend herself, get into arguments, etc. I compiled a bunch of data (manually! No banned programs!) to show she’s significantly activity polarized – her most inactive wolfgame was similar to her most active towngame (by posts per day), something like that.
I’ve played with Leafia a lot since. I can’t remember her ever mentioning activity meta in any of those games. She’s been town in all of them, IIRC.
Suddenly, it popped into her head again, and she went out of her way to say she’d be posting a lot so I can’t activity meta her anymore. I think she was nervous about wolfing against me and being too active and getting caught?
Take it as you will, but I very much doubt that Ashley would be Night 1-ing you even if she had the capacity.
I don’t think you all in particular would N1 me, but I did just get N1ed in a game where I mostly talked about my dinner and made jokes at tutuu’s expense
Adding to considerations. Anyway, I should finish this post I’m penning, I’m not remotely suited to these games.
Anyway, our schedule for the day seems to be:
Rising at approximately 08:00 BST (jumper on head)
Various miscellany (including making plans with our brother) and reading the thread for 20 minutes
Sitting in thread doing minor chatter for a little while after,
Showering, getting dressed, going out to the shops. Returning once that’s done.
Then we’re here for the rest of the day, I believe. We might be playing Final Fantasy XIV on our other monitor though. We’ll start to get tired at around 21:00 BST, and we absolutely have to be asleep at 24:00 BST (we have a Doctor’s appointment the next morning you see) but that should be all.
As the thread seems mostly inactive at present I will get the ball rolling on washing and shopping.

Now there will be many flaws to such a thing, such as it being distorted by multiple short lines and things like that, but I can think of multiple human-executable algorithms to reduce those effects.

Never did wordcount analysis because there’s certain issues with data-scraping from a site-rules perspective; the most I ever did myself was manually going through every single one of a player’s games and checking their postcount at the top of the thread.
Zug did some post delay analysis when we hydraed – looked at the variation of delays between a player’s posts, allowing us to check in on things like “do players feel comfortable enough in the thread to rapidly respond to stuff” and “do players disappear for extended periods of time”. I helped with the data visualization? We found one player was polarized by post delays IIRC but didn’t do much with it
I don’t remember whether that’s a banned third-party program now
