From what I understand you think i am mafia because I claimed a card similair to a gladiate, which you had. And you think this is suspcious because two would not exist.
You then did not like me voting you with no evidence, putting you to 3 votes, and think I am mafia off it.
As a result you immediately gladiate me off of these 2 things.
If i am wrong that this was the reason you gladiated me then fair.
But as it stands both are such flawed reasoning cuz:
A) mafia and town have same cards so idk why if im mafia i would just make up a random card i dont have. id just claim the cards i have. especialyl when the card im claiming is public and antitown (might make sense to hide a vig or something obvs)
B) absoultely 0 reason multiple gladiate-esque cards wouldnt exist, especially when we both have same number 7 apparently
C) VOTING SOMEONE TO 3 VOTES IS NOT SUSPICIOUS

I thought your card was a lie. If it was not (given the info I had at the time) it would be trivial for you to kill me. This provided an easy hard confirm for my read and if I was wrong I simply die.
This being based solely off of a hard read is why my counterpoint (
) was opposed to me doing it, primarily because it is high-risk and the losing half of it is We Die Day 1 (and he () wants to play too).
I gladiated you based solely on this hard read, and how binary its confirmation would be.
You then said and did a number of things, including your claim about your card not being activate-able which make No Sense to me or flag you as mafia in my mind. These things do complicate the scenario, the possibility of you being truthful about not being able to activate your card now (ha!) isn’t quite as neat as I’d like but That’s One Of The Things I Think Is A Load for reasons I’ve already explained.
Also I can’t go back from the gladiate action anyway, unless we convince every player to abstain from voting (and even then that would be a no-execute Day 1, which is bad for Town).
For all of these reasons together I am advocating for your death.

Y’see this is funny because in this TTRPG I really like Brass has an association with the hell equivalent in the setting, demons and their human allies and all that, and that’s definitely one of the two (maaaaybe three…?) main things you’d do for an Evil Team in a mafia game that was themed after this setting.
