If hippo had the card (remember, at the time we hadn’t heard hippo claim the card was disabled by my card) then he could render himself immune to execution. Then I either get executed or hippo gets fail executed, strongly suggesting his card is real and I victimized a townsfolk for no reason. Then I die.
Also hippo wasn’t being clear but it was possible him being “unable to be exed” by his card would make me the only valid vote resolution target. Unlikely, but that’s another way it could go, which is an even more I Die situation!
