This is Chomps’ most substantial thought of the day so I will look at the justifications here.
May (#97) - I think May tends to correctly notice cracks in the armor regardless of alignment, and I agree that Leafia’s preemptive awareness of being scumread is out of character. I have never seen Leafia wolf, but this is the least confident I have been in her towniness in any game we’ve played on D1. May has the strongest justification here.
Rajidae (#138) - This one I agree that it feels opportunistic. It’s an RVS vote though I can see how Rajidae would read this as Leafia saying “if you push me I WILL spew my alignment”, making a wagon here useful.
Snow (#154) - I don’t like this one, either, mostly because Snow in past games has tended to put more rationale in their votes, even early votes, without prompting! Mildly theater-y introduction between Snow and Sultan here.
Most of Chomps’ more recent posts have been defending this observation, which I think is fair! I’m not sure why Rajidae is going “it’s not like Leafia was actually being pushed” (#652) - you were pushing her! That’s why you voted her!
After closer examination I think I was wrong with my snap judgment on Chomps and he comes off as pretty towny here. I don’t think I support a Chomps vote today. He’s right that this wagon movement is quite bad.
