I’m town reading Luka for this specific post. Not going to lock it in but this specific post mirrors what I felt when I was thinking of what I was going to do when the game opened. I felt terrible so my thought process was to just vibe and give reads and see what happens. Obviously I changed shtick when I got bored and I started to realize there’s potential to jump the game forward but.

I’m confused on what exactly you are trying to do then. The way to win this game isn’t to try to box off so many people early on, nor is it trying to put a lot of effort into the game. Effort doesn’t correlate with winning games. No matter how much effort you put into the game you will always have a hard time understanding certain people or misreading people.

Okay so 1 big thing to note is that WE SHOULD NOT FLAHSWAGON while the Vig is alive. This setup is more townsided than mountainous 9v2, and it’s all centralized in the Vig. It’s not worth the risk of flash wagoning, especially on somebody who can’t potentially claim in time. Do not do it. I will repeat this in big bolded letters again before EoD. The last time, or the second to last time Vig10er was ran here, Vig got misexecuted D1 (granted, an FPS played a significant part of it, and arguably village played properly by voting away from the Vig claim. But still. It’s in my memory)

to add onto this
do not claim to be the vig if you are vt to try and survive eod
the last time this game was ran this happened and we killed the actual vig on day 1, and obviously we had to kill the fpser the next day so we lost the kill from the vig and the next ml which basically put the game in lylo from the start

likewise if you are the vig and wagoned you should just claim - it doesn’t matter if you get killed on night 1, all you need to do to get our extra kill is survive to night 1, if you manage to live to night 3 then we can get another but that’s pretty unlikely, it’s best to just aim for one which makes the game functionally the same as 9v2 mountainous which is a balanced setup

For example me. You don’t really know how to understand me as a player. I don’t really trust most people here to understand me as a player either. It’s hard to model me.

How can you assert this with confidence. Have we played even 5 mafia games together. Other than Mountainous AMQ 3 years ago have we even had a second v/v game ever

that said

if the vig is alive on day 3 in final 4 then that means they only need to find 1 town cuz of elim + kill (assuming one wolf already died) so yeah it’s pretty strong but not worth risking dying d1

vig10 turbo setup got nerfed to 2 shot because of this but usually the vig gets found before then anyway

Like, just because I wrongly sheeped v!Happy on townreading w!you, it does NOT make it logical for me to NEVER sheep a villager again. Why would I adapt in such a manner. Imagine if a player flipped wolf and they said “hi” in one of their posts, and I adapt to that experience by never ever townreading anyone who says the word “hi” in one of their posts ever again. This is almost the same scenario of what you expect me to adapt. Its not logical, to me
