All choices are made.
There is no more chance to change your fates anymore.

Round ended.

You all disappeared from the island and returned home. Everyone wins, GG

The game is over.

As you hear the announcement, you all feel that something is strange, and all of the living(?) players are given one final choice.

“Why did you call us all back so suddenly, master? I almost conquered my first island…”
“Regarding of that island. It’s over. Even if there are multiple players winning, from the original cast only one person can return… Obviously they didn’t know this yet, when they made their choices.”
“Master, isn’t this disrespectful? That spell clearly stated that all of them disappear and return home.”
“Yes, that’s truly the case. But did you think that a system which was harsh on them in the beginning, will mysteriously become nice to them suddenly? Let me tell you a secret. There is one rule which were a lie from the beginning. Their spell will do whatever the system wants… Or the person who is operating the system. Their goal is still a mystery for me.”
“So the only one who leaves is the guy who left towards the end.”
“You didn’t listen… The quota is only for those who return. And for their luck, only one of them chose that option. Come, I need to introduce myself to the other two.”

@Katze wins.

Their wincon:

After they accomplish their wincon, they disappear, as if they never were there in the first place…

@Ruby wins, and return to their home.

They forgot almost anything about the island, where they were imprisoned for more than a month, as not a single second passed between their departure and homecoming. They become the number one alchemist, as they can decompose any spells to their element, and change those to the ones they need at the moment. Sometimes even they wonder where they learned these skill.

@Magnus, @JakeTheWolfie wins as living players.

They both chose to stay on the Island. When a suspicios person steps on the Island, they don’t know what to do. The next moment all three of them teleport away. Their fate isn’t recorded.

@Litten 's bodiless soul left alone on the Island, for years.
Sometimes they got a visitor in the form of Irina. Who acknowledges Litten’s existence, but they cannot help them by giving a body. When she visits the island each year, she sighs big a few time, and lock melancholy on a single spot… where a man left this realm with her help. But in the next moment her face became determined, and leaves while murmuring… “I cannot be derailed… we will meets again, if fate allows it.”

These repeat for at least a century. But as it is Litten the only one who could keep the time, they might not be correct on how long, when the first change happens.

This times, when Irina visits, she talks to Litten.
“Those two should be reincarnated at this time already, and probably trapped in their second game… I hope that holy lass will be more attentive this time… I need skillfull people for my…. Anyway, why are you still here. It’s not like I complain… Without you this island would disappear, probably with my memories about him… Sometimes… I wish I could follow him.”

She leaves, but never comes back.

After this point, Litten cannot keep with the Flow of time, as they don’t know how long time has passed after that. Years? Decades? Centuries? Millenniums? Somehow he just feels in his (non-existent) heart that he needs to wait.

And one moment after that long waiting, a guy with their appearance teleports to the island.
“Master, I missed you…”

im glad my advice was taken to heart

About the NPCs.

Aneverd. The Blacksmith Magician - is my og oc. Usually if I am GMing the game with old wizard in them, he is my go to character. Apperantly in this story, he is quite young. Technically you all saw part of his backstory in this game.

Irina, the elf princess. - She is the reference of multiple characters from different light novels. (the two main trophe for her is from one from the main Female lead of “A Stay-at-home Dad’s Restaurant In An Alternate World”, (who is named as Irina as well.) the second one, from the School director of “FFF-trashero”.

Young Master and the four demons - as ElizaThePsycho highlighted, they are clear reference of Cult of the lamb…

Misterious guy (Master) - No records of him anywhere.

The last NPC, appearing at the very end of the epilogue - If you don’t know who is it, read the game again…

About the mainstream spells.

The golem spell was a big miscalculation from my part.

It was way too cheap compared to what they could accomplish. But when I figured out the problem, it was already too late. So around the middle of the game, I decided to change the spell, without actually changing the actual spell. (that’s why Litten got me two contradictory verdict on two actions which where similar in concept.) but this was still not enough, because of JakeTheWolfie’s simple command, which made me feel like I am doing chore, instead of hosting a game… So the moment I saw I can get rid of them, I jumped on the opportunity.

Apprentice’s second spell… called Lazy… Would have removed all spell’s cost and Side effect. They tried to get the necessary elements like from round 3…
But first time, the Authority spell’s cost was reranded… on which I was mean the most, since the rule element is essential for the most rule-breaking spell, and the time element (which needed a rule element to gain) is limited on very Game-breaking spells. (like the one, which ended the game.
And the second time, they got targeted with a spell, which removed one third of their elements.

Ruby gained elements each round because of their random income spell. Which should have costed at least one rule element, if I’m being honest, but at that time I thought, the side effect would be enough to not care about it.

Memes’s dark ice Mirage spell was strong on paper, but they could target only one player at one time with it. And ElizaThePsycho attacked them right after Memes made the shield protecting themself of Eliza.

Speking of Eliza’s fire holy spell… JakeTheWolfie almost survived the same spell, but when they casted the protection spell on themsleves, they were missing 1 fire element, resulting their spellcasting in failure…

I honestly think there’s alot of base potential here as a game.

I think in general this game has likley had alot seen that would be good in the future if was ever ran but unsure playing another would have the same feel.

Thanks btw there was alot of background work that could have been missed by most that you did here and I don’t think you thought this would last that long.

So thanks so much for hosting and thanks everyone for playing this overall I everyone played a fun game nothing felt to like one sided honestly from the general idea knowing costs exsited.

So again GG love you all

(Yes I added kat so they could win xD)

Well played. I was semi-tempted to just make myself win, but this was also fun and I felt a few specific players deserved it.
I would play this game again, but I feel there are significant mechanical overhauls you’d need to speed things up, a few unbreakable rules. Too tired to think atm.

Lore

My holy fire spell was really good tbh
Idk what the exchange rate for elements:damage would be but it’s burst damage and that’s important

Also Irina eats my soul and then calls me a fake cleric
:wowee:

for reference

was what i think i currently had for resources and was still fair off my plan which would have let dead players win xD

Maybe it wasn’t clear, but she used it to help Aneverd escape, and revive JakeTheWolfie.
