in this essay I will discuss why kiiruma is mafia
Axiom 1: Geyde Spew
Initially, Kiiruma started getting shade because me and Geyde jumped on Kiiruma immediately after they posted. But there is a major difference between how me and Geyde treated that slot, specifically the fact that Geyde didnāt actually try to ever get Kiiruma killed. And when the cards came down at the end Kiiruma was never on the table as an option, he in fact wanted to kill himself/Jake over Kiiruma. Why? Assuming that Kiiruma is town this is completely nonsensical, Kiiruma would be a very easy push since I was tunneling him so hard and could potentially open the wolf team up to killing a Townie. But even when I pressed Geyde he didnāt want to kill Kiiruma when it came down to it at the end. I think this is indicative of Geyde trying to distance from his partner (since he knew his end was coming) and me dunking on Kiiruma unexpectedly was not planned.
Argumentum 2: Their f a l s e h o o d s
Kiiruma lied at the end of night 1 and claimed to be the NSF Hacker, which caused the real hacker Gorta to come out to counter claim him. I think this makes sense coming from a wolf, since it means that in the chaos that Kiiruma might escape and a power role gets outed. But I was fine with mostly ignoring it until today when Kiiruma lied about their claim again in a way to also makes sense coming from a wolf (to prolong their life span since their claim inherently is in question when they run out of āshotsā)
Either one of these things would be cringe but not enough to damn Kiiruma but I think both of these things together are pretty bad
FUCK 3: their reads
Initially at the start of the game Kiiruma gave a villager read on Hippo that they never adequately explained. I grilled them over it and they eventually gave up and said it was just gut. Later they said that me and Geyde contained at least one Mafia for very flimsy reasons, despite me constantly questioning these reasons they never let up until Geyde died. I think both of these reasons were formed from a place of TMI didney despite having basically no evidence, they didnāt really try to investigative the source of these gutreads. They instead pushed very hard and reacted extremely aggressively to anyone questioning their reads. I think this fits with a wolf who doesnāt want anyone questioning them directly and is willing to use brute force to get people to stop questioning them, and not a genuinely annoyed villager since the reaction was far too extreme compared to my questions.
Later on day 2 and day 3 they pushed a Trochi/Blizer world, and they seemed didnāt seem very concerned about either Blizer/Isolde. They have a lazy townread on both of them but never really provided any evidence for why they townread the both of them. Eventually Trochi was dropped from the world for extremely questionable reasons right when thread was turning against AT.
I think all of this is consistent with a wolf who struggles with TMI and looking concerned with whatās happening in thread, and their day 3 play fits this with them suddenly pivoting towards AT for a reason that seems to only boil down to thread turning against them
