The game is fine so far but there’s very little actual information besides the worlds they constructed in their own head that they run in loops being depressed. The game is actually fine. You have slots that seem townie (Leafia, who is confirming Gocj), you have productive slots that even if wolf they will show their fur later on, or will be really helpful and die n1 catba/eph okay luka I love you but you don’t usually die n1, and you have an assortment of other fun town reads. People depressed are the people sad they aren’t hunting the wolves and making them beg for their lives

okay, so, individually i would agree none of the posts you quoted here are particularly towny, and i could see how maybe the post you quoted looks like the archetypical scum trying to look productive by posting stuff that doesn’t actually say anything.
however, i feel like that is not the strongest point. the other posts you have quoted are, at worst, awkward. awkwardness is not an inherently scum-indicative trait. and overall in cape’s iso he feels like he’s making a lot of analytical posts showing an effort to scumhunt, and you can see the reasoning behind the stuff he’s saying and how he’s getting to his conclusions.
I’m talking about stuff like #931, #1045, #1369, #1441
to me, these posts all read like a townie blurting his thoughts out into the thread without a care as to how he is perceived. he is simply trying to figure things out, reading in his own way, looking at stuff that interests him, and dumping his conclusions into the thread. he’s probably one of my most confident townreads.
Check their iso but tl:dr is they dont really feel townie in the sense of trying to actively contribute
