Welcome to Fortress of Lies University, sulit!

You were the pride and joy of Fortress of Lies University’s engineering program. That was, at least, until you managed to snag an on-campus job at the ice cream store. There, you excelled above all. Turns out, ice cream is just like robots and computers and shit, but like, delicious. After finding out that Fortress of Lies University offered an Ice Cream Invention major, the decision to switch was easy. Justice is a dish best served cold.

COOK 2050: How To Become an Ice Cream Master

Give an Ice Cream to a player. Each Ice Cream has an effect that takes place the phase after the Ice Cream is consumed. If it is not used by the end of the following night, it will melt, becoming unusable.

Banana Ice Cream
Night Item
Consume this item to make target player’s action Loud. This item will melt if not used before the start of the following Day.

Cake Batter Ice Cream
Night Item
Consume this item to roleblock target player. This item will melt if not used before the start of the following Day.

Coffee Ice Cream
Immediate Day Item
If you have a Day Action and consume this item, you may use that action twice today. If the Action has limited shots or charges, it will consume them twice. This item will melt if not used before the start of the following Day.

Orange Cream Ice Cream
Day Item
During the following Night phase, you will gain an orangeandblack5 certified weapon, which you may attempt to use on a player. This item will melt if not used before the start of the following Day.

Note: The weapon will always misfire.

Pistachio Ice Cream
Night Item
Protect yourself from one kill. This item will melt if not used before the start of the following Day.

Extracurricular: Monster Monster
Immediate Day Action
You may only use this ability if your first message in this phase was “hi chat”.
Deal 30 * (X - 1) damage to yourself, where X is the number of times this ability has been used in this game. This damage can kill you.
Next phase, you may use COOK 2050 thrice. Actions enabled by this are still bound by the Cycling restriction.

The question is why did the shot miss in the first place. Nothing on the card suggets that it should miss
