@nutella has gladiated @Italy! In addition to voting on the main execution, all players may vote between nutella and Italy. Whichever of the two of them has more votes by 2025-07-10T16:20:00Z will be executed!

Vote weight that would display solely on the EoD votecount will also display on the final votecount for this execution.

You may simultaneously vote for an execution within the gladiate, and for the main execution. To cast two votes at once, you must put them BOTH in the SAME post, like so:

We will shortly be turning off the VC-bot for the duration of the gladiate, as multi-voting is not compatible with the bot. Manual votecounts will still be posted to reduce lag.

How to play:

• Game is coup. Objective is to end the game as the only player with a card left.
• Each player begins with 2 cards and 2 coins. There are 5 Characters in the deck of cards, all with different abilities. I will post the reference sheet of actions/interactions for the cards. There are 15 cards in total, 3 of each character.
• There are 7 actions you can take.

1. Income, which is taking 1 coin from the bank.
2. Foreign aid, which is taking 2 coins from the bank. Players with the Duke card may block this action
3. Tax, which is taking 3 coins from the bank. Only players with the Duke card may take this action.
4. Coup, which is paying 7 coins to force one player to give up a card. No way of blocking this. If you have 10+ coins, you must use this action.
5. Assassinate, which is paying 3 coins to force a player to give up a card. This is blocked if your target has a Contessa.
6. Steal, which is taking 2 coins from a different player. Can only be done with the captain, and can be blocked by the Captain or Ambassador
7. Swap, which is drawing two cards from the deck, and choosing which cards to keep out of those and your current card(s).

Central mechanic of Coup: You may do any action, and you may claim to have a card that blocks any action. Meaning you can take Tax even if you’re not the Duke, or claim to have a Contessa when assasinated, even if you have none.

Players can challenge any action. If they are right, and a player took that action without the valid card, that player must lose a card. If the challenger is wrong, the challenger must lose a card.
