Okay, now that I’ve had a day to think about it and don’t feel as overwhelmed, I just realized that the people who were faulting me for being a lowposter were pretty mean :/

Like, oh sure let’s just throw 4 threads, a 2-day-phase amount of incidents and posts from 66 freaking people at a someone who subbed into her very first mash in a different site with people she barely knows on a workday (mind you) and if she doesn’t post like a gazillion times in a span of 24 hours then she’s obviously a wolf. Like, sure. Awesome.

Last Day phase I did want to make reads and be of some help but, yanno,
pretty much all of my tools — meta, tone, threadstate, NKA and macroreads were unavailable to me.

I didn’t contest it when people were shooting at me @ ITA2 because you guys were apparently culling fat (which is fair) and honestly? I felt relief more than anything because if I died, at least that means I won’t have to read and just go, welp guess mashes aren’t my thing.

So yes, I understand that everything is chaotic and stressful so it’s better to just remove the wildcards and unknown players and no one has the time to baby the newcomer but still, not cool.

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Yesterday Neil added me to a neighborhood with Mist and Ephemera that has powers tied to it. One such power is vote on a player to receive 10 damage. Neil voted me and I, not wanting to receive 10 damage, voted neil
