hey Arctic! it’s nice to see a familiar face around here
it might be easier to rally votes for the council when more people have confident reads. admittedly I’m not sure I have a grasp on who is considered consensus town right now

from my personal reads, I could volunteer you to look into soweli as a possible candidate for the council. but I’m not sure if that read is shared by many other people so it may be moot, lol

Event Announcement

Dear Valued Citizen,

Please note that the FoL Council is hosting an event today.

ATTENTION ALL INHABITANTS! This is a test of our emergency broadcasting system. In the event of an emergency, such as a solar flare, magnetic storm, or life support failure, the Emergency Broadcasting System will broadcast announcements to all residents. In past emergencies, we have sometimes encountered difficulties due to the emergency announcements being insufficiently attention-grabbing, resulting in emergency broadcasts being ignored. As such, we are sponsoring a competition to see who has the most effective emergency messages, as measured by viewer engagement ratings. (We acknowledge that in theory it might be possible to game the engagement metric by submitting "humorous" emergency messages. But you won't do that... right?)

You are invited to participate in:

Quiplash
Players: Up to 8
Chance of Death: None
Mobile-friendly: Theoretically, but you might have a hard time watching the stream
Duration: ~30 minutes
Discord Access: REQUIRED
Other Notes: N/A

How to Play:

  • Quiplash is a game where people compete to create humorous answers to various prompts. The full rules of the event will be explained on the stream.
  • All players in the event must join the Quiplash voice chat in the FAM6 Discord server. If you are not in the event, you should not join the voice chat.
  • You will not need to actually speak out loud in the voice chat. However, you will need to be able to view the stream.

How to Join:

  • Type /in in the game thread and ping @FAMHost. Sign-ups will close in 10 minutes, or when full.
