Event Announcement

Dear Valued Citizen,

Please note that the FoL Council is hosting an event today.

ATTENTION ALL INHABITANTS! CAN YOU HEAR ME? I’M YELLING AS LOUDLY AS I CAN. AS YOU PROBABLY JUST NOTICED, THE LIGHTS ARE OUT. WE DO HAVE EMERGENCY GENERATORS, WHICH ARE MAINTAINING THE LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEMS, BUT MANY NON-ESSENTIAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN DISRUPTED, INCLUDING OUR COMMUNICATIONS.

PLEASE RETRIEVE YOUR EMERGENCY RADIOS – UH-OH. APPARENTLY THE MAGNETIC STORM THAT TOOK OUT OUR POWER IS ALSO AFFECTING THOSE. WELL, THAT’S ALRIGHT. PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE RENDEZVOUS POINTS. AND REMEMBER, FOLLOW THE BUDDY SYSTEM!

You are invited to participate in:

Power Outage
Players: Any even number
Chance of Death: None
Mobile-friendly: Yes
Duration: ~30 - 45 minutes
Discord Access: Not required
Other Notes: N/A

How to Play:

  • Each round, all players will be randomly assigned a pair from among the other players. (Pairs will be reassigned each round.)
  • A question will be posed to all players. Your goal is to submit the SAME answer as your partner to the question. (Substantively identical answers may be counted as the same at host discretion.)
  • All players who submit the same answer as their partner advance to the next round. All other players are eliminated.
  • The last pair left standing wins.
  • If every pair is eliminated in the same round, the players eliminated in the last round stay in the game.
  • You may not communicate with your partner in ANY WAY.
  • Answers will be posted publicly after each round.

How to Join:

  • Type /in in the game thread and ping @FAMHost. Sign-ups will close in 10 minutes.
