i think she would have every reason there as any alignment to believe that the wagon was, if not straight up effectively fake, never going to hold enough traction to ride to eod

also even if that was less obvious, it’s five and a half hours out from eod. annika tends to be pretty chill and unworried about stuff like that where there isn’t active imminent danger especially ime. it’s exactly the reaction I would expect
