well I really liked how he described his YbW read. he was already kind of sus of her so he decides to look into her ISO.

  • 1. he mentions thinking his initial assessment was wrong, but thinking she’s still wolfy because there’s just less engagement in general
  • 2. he realises she was actually a wolf in that game
  • 3. he still wolfreads YbW cos it’s the same flavour of uninspired posts—his initial assessment was correct

this doesn’t feel like how a wolf approaches an ISO dive tbh. I think around the purple bit he has the chance to go “I was considering I was wrong, but…” to seem more reasonable. but he explicitly says his progression is “I thought she was wolfy for this reason, but it wasn’t valid. but I still think she’s a wolf”. idk I just find this more likely to be his genuine thoughts. I often find several reasons to wolfread people, and they sometimes turn out to just be invalid/flawed. but it doesn’t diminish my wolfread on the slot, it just makes me re-evaluate my reasoning. that’s the vibe I’m getting here

as a more minor note, I think his consistent but quiet tinfoil on Marshal is towny. it feels like he’s been silently worried about her since the start of the game, and you can see that in how he avoids mentioning her for the council

(I don’t have a read on Marshal, I just think his actions reflect a real read that has persisted beyond what he said in thread)
