Dear Valued Citizen,
Please note that the FoL Council is hosting an event today.
We’ve brought a number of scientific instruments with us, but before we can use them to take measurements, we need your help to make sure they’re properly calibrated! When calibrating instruments, it’s important to have an accurate understanding of their precision – more precision is generally better, but falsely claiming precision they cannot actually achieve can throw off an entire experiments.
You are invited to participate in:
Instrument Calibration
Players: Up to 8
Chance of Death: None
Mobile-friendly: Yes
Duration: ~45 minutes
Discord Access: Not required
Other Notes: N/AHow to Play:
- Turn order will be determined randomly, and reshuffled each round.
- Each round, a question will be posed with a numerical answer.
- The first player must respond with a range that they believe contains the correct answer.
- The next player must either narrow the range or call the previous player’s bluff. You have a maximum of two minutes to do this, but try to answer more quickly if you can!
- When narrowing the range, you must narrow it by at least 10% of the previous width of the range, to avoid players just narrowing by 1 each time. For example, if the previous player said “200 - 2000”, with a width of 1800, you could reduce it to “400-2000” (reducing the range by 200, which is more than 180), but not to “300 - 2000”.
- If you call someone’s bluff and the true answer was outside of the range they gave, they’re out! If you call someone’s bluff, and the true answer was not outside the range, you’re out!
- If the range is narrowed to a single number, and the number is wrong, the player who provided the number is out. If the number is exactly correct, they can choose any other player to eliminate.
- The last player remaining wins.
- Research is NOT allowed.

i tend to over-estimate how much wolves distance and stuff which is probs a lot of where this is coming from
still don’t think gori/harv is pure bc god their interactions are so weird but ig i can see it not being w/w per se
