neil was only voice defending sda and was doing a lot to get sda off shotlists. maybe im putting the cart before the horse, if sda is town i see no reason for neil not to be, but it just felt wrong to me and out of left field and i dislike it in hindsight

oh ok, I see what you mean now. The thing I was missing in context was that if SDA is a wolf then Neil looks worse because of the work it did to take SDA off lists. That makes sense, although I still think a member of town could find the defense Neil managed by doing what it said it did - reading legacies.
i think it is only an “always kill neil” situation if derps is exactly wolf kp / some other powerful role that wolves would care that much to keep alive another night

neil bringing in a sudden defense initially by proxy then more full throated RIGHT as derps was getting pressure not before, feels like a desperation play to keep someone safe. just too coincidental imo. sucks if it really is a coincidence but like. all this only came when derps was in danger and not befor
