FAM6 - Thread 3 - Day 2

VOTE: Daeron

im ngl like. while i think not claiming it was a little weird i dont think id have nearly as strong a reaction to that as youre sugesting

What’s the argument on the top four wagons?

Waking waking up from shutdown
From a thousand years of sleep

iiii feel like ass. and thread was not as yappy as i hoped it would be on my arrival. talk to me people. I’d really like to help you but I just dont know what to dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

It’s more the things before it

Willow managing to get on the council was strange enough, then looking back at her D1, it doesn’t scream much to me

You could claim it was wolves trying to get someone on the council to make them suspicious, but that’s such a blanket statement to let people get away with stuff it’s ridiculous

I also think the intentional omission of feedback is always a suspicious outcome, especially coming from someone who did receive other feedback last night but didn’t omit that

Not to mention, their claim feels like BS, especially considering Arctic’s death on top of that, I can’t in any good faith consider Willow to be town with everything surrounding it, they also have been out of thread since I mentioned any of this and only returned once and didn’t say anything

If Willow’s town, I don’t care I’ll take every bit of blame I have to, but until this slot dies I’ll never be able to leave this tunnel because it’s so incredibly convincing from my perspective

I think Willow has to be aligned with ATNo in every universe here, and ATNo already flipped

oh. I. see what happened with harv now

I wonder why you think Ranta is Town?

meow is fairly easy to imagine why. Consistent thoughts and in display, while Ranta leans more on the opposite as someone who thinks and posts the aftermath.

:closed_umbrella: I’ve been in two proper town games on here, and one other town game that lasted for two hours total or something silly.

:closed_umbrella: So two games. Both town, no Evil Team.

:closed_umbrella: I last played forum mafia MANY YEARS AGO but I think my playstyle between now and then is pretty representative, and that forum is still up, so if you wanna verify or debunk any of what I’m saying here then you can navigate to the two games I’ve been in on here, or to this game where I was evil from however many years ago.

:closed_umbrella: Oh wait, one more preliminary note, there are some pressure tactics that we find acceptable to use on us that are detailed on the second page of this.

:closed_umbrella: Generally I try to have my playstyles be similar between Good and Evil teams (don’t we all?). I try to make bold reads, see how people react, and be a helpful presence in the thread explaining mechanics and what other people mean by their arguments, because being viewed positively by the thread is useful when both Good and Evil.

:closed_umbrella: I often get somewhat righteously angry at poorly conceived arguments, though will restrain my frustration for the duration it takes to confirm that the other person really does mean the ill-headed thing I think they do. This pattern persists even when Evil, and even when As Evil I know they are correct—the illogic offends even when it is by happenstance true.

:closed_umbrella: The difference between my Good and Evil playstyles is that I will put my thumb on the scales as Evil. I will make an overall logical argument but it is… the third or fourth ranked one I should really be making, as it benefits the Evil Team for people to carry out. I do things like that. Another gambit of mine is to turn up the dial on my frustration at someone who would certainly inspire my wrath ordinarily, but whereas on the Good Team I may step aside and let things go, I will keep pressing as Evil, to try to influence votes more than I would on Good.

:closed_umbrella: …that’s the most of it I’d say?

:closed_umbrella: I really do think that one link I posted, this evil game is quite instructive, but I have literally Never gotten anyone to read it during a game thus far…

:closed_umbrella: Hangh.

:closed_umbrella: Anyway if all of that analysis sounds 40 to 60% useless in the context of a FAM where I’m not diligently reading all of the thread and therefore cannot fall into my usual playstyle… you would be precisely correct, it’s quite an annoying thing.

:closed_umbrella: There’s a reason I got fully caught up on the thread on Day 1 you know! I then had… a minor breakdown from… something sideways to the game…

:closed_umbrella: So I haven’t repeated it…

:closed_umbrella: And likely won’t…

:closed_umbrella: Yes. It’s quite annoying.

This is fair. VOTE: Willow

surely they just dropped the index card they wrote its role on. i do that every champs jury reveal with the advanced names

I asked to be elected multiple times because I thought it would be funny, people tred me and if they voted me. Didn’t expect it myself but I think u can read through the rest of my iso if u question my alignment

:closed_umbrella: apparently reading wazza’s ISO will give you the argument for the top one?

What the fuck is this post idgi are we operating on the assumption there has to be wolf in council

Has an entire post of other reasoning:

Takes the first line

What did they mean by this?

:closed_umbrella: the council was weird compared to their estimation of the public will, therefore they suspect it was stacked by wolves?

  1. If willow is mafia and asked arctic to visit for a mech confirmation why would they kill artic? Doesnt this just weaken the mech
  2. Willow asked for multiple visits I chose not to visit and told them that
  3. Why are we assuming that willow herself is a wolf/mafia voted a wolf into council

It’s genuinely too early to decide theres wolf in council imo and playing according w the assumption feels like it harms town more than anything else

Read above

its moreso that council votes were heavily discussed and willows name didnt really appear in that basically at all that i or others can recall so its odd she got more votes than enough of the discussed people to be in there

The estimation of public will was made by a few active voices all of whom had different ideas on who should be in council. I’m in an Asian timezone, I was probably active and spoke to different people vs Lissa/Jinrou/willow etc so I can kinda see that playing a role. What confuses me is why the assumption we go into game with is that mafia definitely voted a member into council

  1. Willow didn’t ask Arctic to visit for mech confirmation, Willow asked Arctic to visit her to get herself stronger, there was no mech confirmation involved I have no clue where you got that from
  2. Not seen this, doesn’t matter much to me due to my information being confirmable for Willow to receive
  3. Again, you’re for some reason only taking the first point of my entire 6 paragraph message, the entire point of me mentioning the council thing was because earlier people were using it to defend her, can you at least read the rest of the message?
