Yeah I checked out when they stopped writing backgrounds or having motivations for why the characters would sign up to fight as a champion
They went the lazy route so I stopped giving them money

i do want to say that we are absolutely not what id call ahead and i dont want complacency
but nor do i want panic, we are certainly within normal range of a fine way for things to play out, a gamestate like this one is only cooked when people lose their minds due to it
