I donā€™t think you would gain Nyaluminum for applying a modifier to a role unless it heavily hurt you. Itā€™s not a shop inventory. I feel like itā€™d be the opposite, as a consumable resource, spending Nyaluminum to apply it.

Towncred for an observably +ev mechanical benefit is the singular reason for why that would happen, whilst prioritising the more vital kill on Marshal going through. Treestumping Marshal is a bad thing for Mafia, but a treestumped Mafia is also better than a not-killed Mafia so it suffices for the purpose of maximising - murder count.
