haha well tbf vca isn’t the most reliable technique but what i use it for is just to help me find where to look if the game seems ~weird~ and like something is off

when i used it in that game there were a couple layers of nuance i didn’t ~really~ communicate itt – eg having multiple other data points that pointed towards ben being wolf anyways, thinking that v!ben worlds according to vca implied a wolfteam that didn’t match gamestate vibes, etc

otherwise it can go wrong v quickly (and often does – like when people assuming the d1 miselim with 6 votes on them has to have had a wolf on their wagon which is often not true at all). just need to be able to understand its limitations and also tie in analysis to other data points if you do feel like you might be onto something

But i just made my townread on Marlux and everything

but I see your points. I was purposefully avoiding spew so i missed the ruby thing.

I have like very little experience hunting lost wolves as the last wolf (they usually get fragged midgame from what i remember when i played with them). I might just be looking at this through the wrong lens. Maybe you can look towny and post well even as a lost wolf later on. Maybe Marlux is the type of wolf who I wouldnt really be able to catch with the methods ive been using

i guess this is why its a team effort and im not trying to do this solo lol

I’m approaching it from the angle “the lost wolf doesn’t know the team, but the team knows the lost wolf” because trying to catch an uninformed wolf is going to be very difficult

Ranta can give out more treestumps and let a friend into f3 if she guesses correctly. Another reason why holstering would be good here, if town is forced to sleep due to killing someone today in ITAs the treestump doesnt make it to f3
