This is the first time in five years I havenât been involved in FAM at all which has been weird. Itâs like the reason I even started being involved in the community rather than some rando in the Discord who popped in from time to time. But Iâve been super busy this past year and didnât think it was wise to volunteer myself if I couldnât put in the time, and if the team thought they actually needed my help, theyâd ask like they did for FAM2.
And yeah they didnât my help. Game seemed solid. Itâs difficult to have a game this large get down to a final 6 without at least a few things being done right in design. I didnât read all of the roles, but they looked like good anniversary roles (idk how to explain this succinctly other than Iâve seen bad ones and these were not that). The most controversial thing was seemingly the existence of a single lost wolf which is genuinely so, so tame of a controversy to have lol. It just seemed solid. And maybe I missed something fucked up and evil, but if I didnât hear about it, it couldnât have been that bad.
This is my long-winded way of saying good job, and that Iâm happy things are at a point where FAM can be run without having me or some other off-site rando in the room as an âexperienced mash hostâ and/or âoccasional voice of reasonâ.

They (me, myself) talked me down from pigeon Wavelength vanillaizer where you target somebody and make them guess a Wavelength clue and if they do too well theyâre vanillaized

They talked me down from Kyubeyâs role being âthe first time you would die, you instead initiate a gladiate against somebody, and the winner gets to liveâ
(And then I talked them down from the current role being silently ITA-immune but taking 10 noncritical damage at the end of the next night for each ITA dodged)
