  2. He was close to Windu, but Windu had certain talents that made him much better at defeating users of the Dark Side of the Force
  1. But his physical abilities weakened. The way Qui-Gon crafted the force ghost ability took a large amount of force as well to maintain.
  1. He used a forbidden lightsaber technique. Anakin was better at lightsaber combat and had more force power, he was simply overconfident.

well yes, obi wan uses soresu while windu uses the more aggressive vaapad style
but he’s visibly outperformed other duelists in combat, having taken on both maul and savage at the same time (as while while sidious was being pushed back and forced to use his force powers)

it’s possible to enhance your body with the force
it’s how yoda and sidious can move so actively, and vader has admitted that if he were to use fine control on that ability he could end up crushing his own saber hilt

i had no clue whatsoever about the forbidden technique thing :joy_cat: however the force power comparison is just unfair
anakin is literally a demigod
the only person who could match him in power is luke, who literally pulled a star destroyer to the ground

If you want to try and use Grievous as an example, it’s a bit harder to argue against that one, except for the fact that Grievous mainly used intimidation, stealth, and overwhelming raw energy to overcome his opponents. If you look back at the movies, you see that Grievous is actually… not very good at fighting. For example, if he had better control over his limbs, he would’ve been able to kill Obi Wan on the first blow quite literally.

anakin was born with a downright illogical amount of midi chlorians and it makes him probably literally the strongest force user ever it’s like trying to arm wrestle hercules you already know he’s gonna send you through the table

but i digress because jedi for some reason never press this fucking advantage??? you can literally throw mile long spaceships at people and you’re telling me you can’t utilize these powers more than once every other minute in a fight?

obi wan was a bad matchup for anakin no matter what in the end because of djem so’s physically taxing nature and the fact that obi wan trained him in the first place
