you don’t need to be constantly in character
just stick to what they do and be in character at least sometimes

make your character entertaining and fun to host and watch for and you will get rewarded
don’t and expect to be dead tommorow

i will purposely be giving character buffs if you’re in character
if you aren’t uh
good luck

no i mean that’s literally his name

i know
its a dumb name
make it enjoyable and write a proper backstory

I’ve been writing up a certain character for a while. I just came up with Emrys on the spot.

I find it hilarious how, in video games, you can eat any food item and heal immediately. I personally try to pay homage to this traditional mechanic by having any and all food items recover Mana instead.

However, since that’s not the point of the question… first of all, Mana is usually considered a living energy in fiction, flowing through everything alive. You could therefore imagine natural food, or food made from natural ingredients, would grant more Mana.

yes he also has a backstory

Will combat mechanics be mostly the same as the last game?

it will be close at least
but i’ll stick more to realism
and there won’t be a character who is a literal god

however
i will make npc’s
and they will be strong and possibly extremely hard to kill

I’m a fan of the idea that the “players” are more or less steering their characters throughout the game, but that’s just me.
