@Marluna vs. @tutuu

Move 9

Hazard uses Protect.
Daeron uses Quote on Drama Mill on Gummy.
Gummy uses Guys, My Boyfriend! on Magnus. It’s super-effective!
Magnus uses Fascinating Insight on Gummy.

that’s GG @tutuu
I used literally the only move, which couldn’t win against this move-set.

You are really in my heads.

@Ash I forfeit.

Tutuu wins against Marluna and moves on to semi-finals!

@Ash, I don’t exactly understand your logic of “not being readily and/or reliably available to host” yet also “not skipping the conclusion of games where the outcomes are obvious”.

Could you explain that to me?

I generally don’t want to call a game without the losing player giving a thumbs-up first. Feels more impersonal that way.
That said, I was about to call it for Tutuu when Marluna forfeited, but that’s mainly because I knew Marluna was online at that point.

Easy.

He doesn’t register the game is over, because he doesn’t have time analyzing the situations. (it’s a complicated game.)

He is just copy-pasting the results, without looking the data behind the information.

or that

Hm… Very well.
By the way, what happens if a player doesn’t respond in 24 hrs? Will their actions be randomized, or will they automatically lose?

Unfortunately, I’m not in the Gen 9 dex.

I suppose I should also add that if you so choose, you have the option to intentionally do nothing with your FoLermon. Not entirely certain why you’d do that, but the action order means that there’s probably some really clever strategy you could pull.

@Ruby we’re the last hope against the boys we gotta do this

you don§t commit your attack, but you don’t waste your protect either.
and sometimes attacking with both of you mons can mess up the turn order.

I feel like… in this setup, abstaining is very rarely worth using. There is a fine balance between speed and dealing damage, and IMO it’s best to deal damage and risk failure because of Protect than guarantee a loss of health. The speed in next turn is IMO not worth the waste of time.

wait we both get to summon ourselves

thats hilarious

sure buddy
