i had memories of soweli being uninspiring and wolfy but i actually kinda like this iso tbh? i disliked the willow read, i disliked the tutuu conversations, but i liked the rapidfire questions of melatonin, the flow state of not caring, declining but then accepting the pocket as a quickly-mind-changing moment, hasn’t really been trying to push any reason to vote anybody so much as kind of chilling and trying to sort out reads. not voting soweli rn

ok how curious my thought process is that voting slankers doesn’t really do much & it’s rarely a good idea to actually hang them because if they’re wolf hooray i guess; if they’re town then what lol.
(I was going to haughtily decline to vote carbonated on these grounds and then I was like ‘oh no that would look bad if carbon flips wolf (likely event)’ ← Yes I know people don’t normally have these thought processes as town ← yes i know it looks bad to be anticipating these moves i’m tired)

in some situations voting slankers is a waste of time
but for slots like carbonated and beancat, either they show up and spew their alignment, they show up and say nothing useful at all, or they don’t show up and they’re force replaced and we get a new player to read
voting for them makes option #2 less likely. players like them are way more likely to spew alignment under pressure, and meaningfully wagoning them makes their slots mean something and have partnerships rather than being perma-blank slates
Do people normally manage to backread the whole thread, or should I not feel as bad?

I think avoiding thread is a bad look for carbon especially given her tendency to get d1ed & such. giving her a pass on real-life grounds also though.

& snow… I am truthfully not very sold on the ‘this is my first forum mafia game’ as a standard for familiarity with everything but of course will be playing along as much as possible while not encroaching on this
like i mean you run into the issue here of 'oh this is a pretty decent read but also literally just applying a previous read to a situation. which like decently towny for somebody who hasn’t played mafia before, not at all for anybody else
there’s also like… multiple players named snow (snow the aopser, snowe the idk); piqued my curiosity (specifically as to who’d be on webdip) but again this snow is new
