Think about it. If we assume that Carbon tried shooting Eve but that it killed her, and that turns out to not be the case and that Eve is a wolf, we literally lose the game because we assumed the worst possible thing. While if we assume that it was a maf dayvig or that Carbon tried shooting anyone else but she actually tried shooting Eve, then all we lose is a single villagdr slot that was a part of the PoE.
