Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Mafia - Day 4 [11/17]

It seems this scum team still has some life left. I will enjoy beating it out of them.

Fwiw i still haven’t seen anything that disproves the tutuu/leafia pairing i suggested d2 but i’m not locked on this yet if someone wants to suggest contradicting evidence

Ty, now you have a post I will be able to retain

Did you go into leafia much?

I don’t wanna talk about it.

You’re joking right? You must be joking there. You and Frog have been very summy.

Just check out Beatings 4 to see what I mean. It’s too hard for me to explain.

Going to hesd out for RL reasons now too. :sleepingleafeon:

If you can’t give reasons I assume you’re just Making It Up

I actually told you so its not Melatonin

My thesis: Jason is powerwolfing.

Evidence A: The Kill Order

I think this one is kind of middling, to be honest.

Our best understanding is that the factional order thus far has been May (bodyguarded by Catbae) → Me (tanked by BPV) → May

I think Jason and I are both firm believers in daykilling from the bottom of the reads list and nightkilling from the top. We can see both in D1 (777) and D2 (2004) that Jason thinks 36501 is the most clear player in the game — leftmost of the hard townreads.

As I mentioned on D2, I was the safest kill from the perspective of my claim, so I don’t look too heavily into this mechanically. If you had just lost two teammates, you want to ensure nothing else goes wrong and take a quick win. My Leafia-style self centered addendum is that maybe the wolf team was threatened by my reads being so good and awesome at this point in the game before I tunneled onto melatonin.

Honestly, I think May was the obvious kill tonight if not me…I don’t really know what the 36501 wolf truthers were on about, and I think the wolf team doesn’t seriously believe they can wait out May redchecking one of them (or tracking Kiiruma to no one). The fact that the kill order has mostly reflected my beliefs on who the towniest players in the game are mean I’m inclined to believe the shot caller is someone with reads similar to my own.

I am definitely not going to get to a full backread before work ends (I didn’t do any review yesterday because I assumed I was dead in a ditch) but rest assured I’m working on it…

Ok Leafia let me be real w/ you

You have 2 modes in this game; wallflower or freight train

When you bother to show up it feels like you’re trying to railroad these takes of yours through

I have no intention of looking back through your meta to confirm whether or not your town games look like wallflower/freight train like they do in this game. I’m just going to assume that they don’t look like this and I’m going to hold that against you. I’m going to put the impetus on you to give me a reason to reconsider my stance. I’m very open to the idea that you’re town and even that you’re town and correct about Jason; this way that you are going about it though will not work out for you. This is a game of communication. Use your words to communicate to me your read on Jason.

That’s fine allow me to imagine worlds! Buddy! Like I said I’m a narratives guy if the narrative loses steam in my head as I go on that will be indicative

Okay but listen, if your intention is just to break my T/T couple and get me executed next, you would do the town a great disservice.

I think w!Jason plays Day 1 pretty safely. He takes a methodical approach to wolfcase several players, takes them as far as town will let him, then backs down and says posting has improved once it’s clear the wagon has the juice. We can see this process go through Meow to start (with the I was trolling defense), then me, then Eve.

His last vote is vote number 6 on Hippo. Snow here is vote number 5. As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t necessarily think saving Hippo is that beneficial once he names Beancat as the other mason. This basically ensures he will die on Day 2 if t!Beancat holds, meaning you benefit comparatively little in the long run from killing a floundering Carbon early. As with Snow, I think the bussers are probably in the late Hippo voters (though this was also an argument to flip Melatonin), using epic hindsight knowledge

Since you like narratives, could you look at 2367, 2649, and 2928

I don’t remember who hopped off the Hippo wagon re: 2367, it was someone

@Leafia

So your ideal wagon would be Tutuu today? Just clarifying

I am more interested to hear why Leafia isn’t giving a more detailed answer what she reads about Soweli, you and Tutuu.
