I don’t know. I’m not conscious of my wolf tells. I’m sure I have some. If I were conscious I would try to fix them. And I’m not consciously and purposefully polarized to get free townreads and tank wolf wins
You would either have to:
- play lots of mafia games with me and figure out things i don’t know / i cant control about myself
- simply find me using common sense at certain games (for example if i execute two wolves, or if i push only towns and defend all wolves)
I don’t have a cheat code on how to instantly read me nah, that would be akin to trust telling

The fun and fair method of playing mafia is when nobody is polarized and people are just trying stuff out, and eventually move on to reading the game via common sense. As opposed to becoming townread due to being out of wolfrange on day 1

and also huh? is the idea that you don’t have overarching towntells/wolftells across your game but are still capable of commiting individually towny/wolfy acts (which extend beyond just the realm of pushes and flips)

i do actually accept the pocket this time both on the grounds of ‘i think it’s nice that you’re trying to keep things in the space of mafia the game featuring reads and alignment-indicative posts (even if it’s unclear you realized i wasn’t there)’ but it’s also a very cute post! (True but inadequate way of expressing why I think the post is towny)

Yeah. Id make a distinction here between “towny” and “townsiding” (as well as “wolfy” and “wolfsiding”). I think this should clear it up?
Towny / wolfy - estimate of what Role PM I was given
Townsiding / wolfsiding - estimate of how much im pushing either team’s wincon (and as we all know these two are separate axises)

Horseshoe theory real? (I don’t find this to be as common an idea as you’re making it out to be but I do also generally subscribe to the idea. i think. don’t tend to use townsiding/wolfsiding as terms because they’re too dependent on things you can’t say with confidence & also them being seperate axes for most people)

Emotionally I feel really good about this post, I appreciate you. It feels relieving because I was feeling tense and jaded that we might tunnel each other as v/v yet again. I hope that you’re not wolf because then I’d feel betrayed. (Last sentence not meant to be taken literally, you have done a great job if you’re a wolf here so congratulations. I’m just sharing)

I found soweli’s post funnily dismissive. Not in the disrespectful way of dismissive. I read it as “good talk, ur still wolf lol”. I know I’m town, if she is mafia she knows I’m town. I don’t think she has the bravado to post that at me if she is mafia, because I consider myself a good player (maybe egotisticslly! But this is just factual information, I just do)

I was thinking that tutuu might have been tmiing you as town since he kept calling you guys v/v but i think some meaning got lost in his posts and he means “potentially v/v”
I think tutuu is likely townsiding by trying to work with you and hear you out, tho i’m very hesitant to townread him off that alone
