We need to build a wagon on a slot that’s a more useful flip that actually helps us solve the game. this threadstate is not good for town because this day phase is getting wasted. Everyone shrugging and agreeing on the same two slots being “good votes” for extremely dubious reasons + static wagons + passive play + low contention over status quo means that you goobers settled on a bad PoE and scum are ready to watch you waste your time getting info from flips you could have already seen coming.
If we all agree on something then it must be right. I mean like, we’re ALL on the same side, right? There are no secret teams in here with ulterior motives? I think what must be happening is that the 1 person who wants to go against everyone else and challenge the status quo is probably the most likely to be lying. Yeah, yeah that makes sense. It’s 1 person challenging the status quo who is the problem and we all agree the same two slots are scummy because we all have the same objective and Everything Makes Sense If You Don’t Think About It At All. Very nice. Good detective work. Bravo.

i don’t think the basis of the read itself is bad, since I think dia is the type of player where randing town is probably more freeing for them. Since they know they’re town, they get to do more bc of the towny entitlement and play more loosely. If they do rand wolf, they don’t mind it, but I think they would be more focused on the game and their wincon.
I theorized this difference might show up in their openers, since i remember their openers from their two games on fol being very different. However, I did go through some of dia’s games on qbcord and they claim their role d1 in every single one as both alignments, so I think i’m just wrong about dia claiming in their opener as being alignment indicative. I think the difference is that madoka magica had anticlaim, so dia couldn’t claim freely, while in april showers, dia had a role that was immune to anticlaim, so they felt free to claim that.

after i revealed to melatonin i was trying to bait them into tunneling me
to me these just feel like really strange posts to make. like I’d expect dia to understand what I was doing, like 36501 and catbae did, but instead these posts just feel like dia is shading me
I think the biggest point against dia for me is their progression on melatonin
so dia’s two wolfreads here are melatonin and me. However, this is the first time they mention wolfreading melatonin. When asked about it later, they say
implying that they thought melatonin and I were w/w and voting each other to distance. However, if you read the earlier post, dia’s thought process there is “If both melatonin and jason are wolves, they probably wouldn’t be voting each other,” implying they didn’t think it was w/w at all.

ok i have been pondering this for a long time and I think my conclusion is that the posting is bad but that doesn’t necessarily make dia a wolf.
I actually quite liked dia’s responses to me calling out his lack of progression, they didn’t freeze up and it felt like towny indignation for being pushed for incorrect reasons
originally i also read this as appeasement but I think it makes way more sense if dia was being snarky here

i liked his willingness to come in and shake things up, like how he picked out a fight with Kiiruma to try to get a reaction out of him. I don’t think I cared as much for his pOsTiNg, felt pretty unnecessary, but he has a point about the threadstate being a little stagnant. I’m curious how he came to the reads he had in #1246 but I’m sure he’ll explain it at some point.
