I am just never going to see any sort of name slips as actually significant, they could be faked or somewhat real as 36501 sniped me with. At best they prompt me to look into what else a player is doing. I had a more eloquent yet annoying way of putting this a while back

yeah it’s not impossible to fake but i think it’s extremely unlikely, especially given that there were 2 interactions where it happened with separate people at that
okay looking into it you did hammer hippo. the wagons were not 6-6 when you hammered hippo
it is impossible to hammer at 6-6 in a 17p game
I care less about these “gotchas” and more about your posts in totality — I want to see your process here. The simplest possibility with no subversion is that you did not like the snow wagon and were trying to start a CFD wherever you could, so you’ve got to convince me that this was coincidence and there are other reasons you’re towny besides easily scriptable meta-interactions

when i voted eve had just voted so yes i didn’t know hammer would be reached and was even unaware of hammer so maybe i shouldn’t get towny points from it
but i demand towny points from it
the point is that (due to willow’s vote being wrong & eve’s vote being literally 2 seconds before), when melatonin shifted their vote the wagons looked to be at 6-6
(though you would see willow’s vote in thread in tandem with jason you want to be part of the momentum )
you are trying to demand town points from two mutually exclusive things
if you knew the vote wasn’t tied and you’d hammer, then you don’t get credit for breaking the tie
if you didn’t know the vote wasn’t tied, you wouldn’t know you’d hammer, and you don’t get credit for hammering

yea
like i genuinely just forgot mafia could fake annoyance so when snow told me “oh yeah i feel a bit annoyed” bc of how their words got taken
i was like “yeah that makes sense is super towny,” especially as someone who has had to deal with soweli’s super logicky prodding questioning that makes me want to leave thread to calm down
it made total sense to me why snow as town would feel that way
…i just didn’t factor in the fact that snow as mafia would also feel that way
