My read on meow was that they were mafia due to the fact that they were being read by players in a way I associate with town misreading mafia, it seems to be a very accurate tell considering it also worked with Arctic reading Magnus as town, this was d1. I think it makes intuitive sense to that town would explain their rationale on why a mafia is town in a similar way compared to how they rationalize and understand their read on a town slot. As soon as I went into informed I tunneled on the fact that they were probably an mafia innocent child and tried to find a team that would fit one in, so let’s ignore that. Obviously this isn’t really a helpful explanation for players but I think players can learn from watching the end game of how meow played, they basically hit all the notes they needed to lead town to their death, which, is also the notes wolves do a lot to secure the win. I don’t mean this post in a players should have known this, I mean this post in a I think patterns are a beautiful thing in mafia and comparing patterns helps solve games and how to approach games and I feel like this is useful to point out

I was backreading tutuu’s posts, and the stuff about having to vote me out/needing to be confident was all so right

also a lot of daeron’s posts were really good and accurate too

This read was d1, once I was informed the read wasn’t relevant

adorable

Patterns are very useful in mafia, even when you are playing as mafia. If you see someone react positively to something you did you are more likely to do this, which leads to a feedback loop of being able to adjust until you start hitting all the correct notes to convince town, or at least the town that matters. And when you are mafia, your only goal is to trick town, it isn’t to solve the game, which means your goal is tied to hitting those notes

LMAOO

Was trying to fake being the meme posting role D1.
And then I forgot to do that during Gummy’s crashout and gave up because I didn’t care enough to keep that up.

And that to me, is the interesting part of this end game, it becomes a cat and mouse game…
