Ok maybe i’m showing my lack of understanding of mafia theory here but why would it be bad to execute lhf d1? Like surely mafia would prefer a miskill on a more active villager to keep the pool of misexes larger for future days.
I suppose the counterargument is that you’re hoping that t!pandora can become more active and readable as the game goes on but ig fmpov i have no idea if this is true.

- she’s apparently in her town meta. mainly I’m just getting very neutral from her, but everyone else is getting towny, so I’m probably just being paranoid
- hasn’t really made any reads besides marluna. I mean I guess I’d expect a mafia member to be more active/agenda pushing/thread control, but she’s just straight up not really been around. I guess this could be towny
- don’t really get how I feel about how she reacted to my “perspective slip.”
- on one hand, tunneling in it and trying to push me would feel really wolfy, so backing off is towny
- on the other hand, the assurance that she wasn’t putting too much stock into it feels slightly like it could be pocketing/tmi or hoping someone else picks up on it and pushes me for her

- kinda same as willow in terms of the activity reads
- initial role soft/opener is ugh kinda hard to see as mafia but maybe if mafia had a good fake in mind already and was acting like it?

- I think her stated plan to use the role to communicate to marluna is pretty towny! two towny people talking to each other is good. I think there must be at least 1 town between gummy/marluna bc of the confirmable town roles thing. so I don’t think it can be a gummy faking neighborizer ability by only “neighborizing” mafia teammates thing.
- beyond that I guess I’d maybe expect some more impulsive accusations/more conviction from a town gummy (i.e., stuff like the kill meow thing) than she’s done so far, but gummy is going to respond and say it’s bc she has an exam which is also valid
Ash
- I think a big thing for reading ash is that the punctuation and capitalization makes all his reads sound like he’s presenting them with 100% certainty, which can be very annoying when you think he’s wrong, so you have to like have a mental filter to automatically add uncertainty points to them
- I’ve been like surprisingly not-in-disagreement with ash’s posting this game. this is kinda weird bc usually I am with town ash, but he still feels like town ash
- I think his general responses to the accusations have been good?

I am explaining this poorly, but beyond just “player will become more readable”, it’s also the idea that killing it gives us nothing in terms of direction. If pandora flips wolf, where do you go from there? Who’s vouched for her? What can you solve off that?
And it’s also giving me a lot of pause that you seemed extremely eager to swap into a pandora vote, almost at the drop of a hat.

So ash has gone from fairly confidently reading carbon all of d1, including up to an hour (?) ago
but when I present him with the chance to vote according to his poe earlier he balks and votes carbon instead?
I can’t remember which game but i’m p sure i’ve made a similar argument as mafia before in a previous game
This justification also is not great bc ash is arguing that pandora is lhf so we should not vote her when the same case could be made for carbon given her known propensity to be killed early. I think w!ash makes this post to defend w!pandora and then in the followup post (#937) ash tries to include the possibility of w!pandora / t!carbon to cover his bases.
The reason ash would want to vote carbon over pandora would be to save his wolf teammate
