- initial read was surely, she’s just confirmed town before I found out about the mafia innocent child role
- then decided I should just go with the simplest explanation of “probably town barring [x y z]” rather than something super convoluted with a healthy dose of doubt
- then I read jason’s post about her being sus and the doubts got stronger with the “what if she really is mafia and just emphasized her role is instantly for the towncred”
- then I read your post about this being more in-character for town marluna rather than mafia marluna; I don’t know anything about marluna meta, so I’ll defer to you for now, so now I think I’m back to position 2 / worry about it later
she’s more townleaned than anyone else in the game at the moment but not a townread? this is entirely being carried by the claim for what it’s worth, but it’s not like much else has happened so far

it’s like a bit of a risk to lock yourself as any role instantly as mafia anyway, like marluna’s claiming a role with no actions – it could result in unintended side effects like town trying to confirm that by roleblocking/redirecting/tracking her (in the world of mafia marluna)
I mean, I guess the only action that any of those actions could mess with would be the factional if she actually has the role and isn’t making it up (which I don’t think is likely to be the case) which would be pretty bad no matter what so maybe the risk works out (??), but this is all really just hypothetical probably uselessposting

Tbh i don’t believe that strongly in the Marluna read (well not enough to vote her anyways) so I’m curious how she’ll progress

ash feels like ash, I still don’t know how he plays as mafia, so this is probably not a bad sign. the thread reading would totally happen as either alignment

Fairly strong townread on Marluna.
Lightest of townleans on meow because I like that her perspective on Marluna doesn’t feel like she’s trying to push for an execution there (this is a light townlean because I could be misreading her intentions here, but immediately falling back off the Marluna push in #107 feels unnecessary to do as mafia).
No thoughts on anyone else yet.
I think i’m p comfortable putting meow as town
iirc they generally prefer being town over being mafia and so far their tone and number of posts (second highest below willow) seem to indicate they’re town excited to solve the game. I think w!meow would be more reluctant to post (especially since it’s their first time playing fm in a new community) and maybe their unhappiness with randing wolf would bleed into some of their posts. They’ve also been actively thinking about alignments (see the progression in #125) and not posting fluff.
