The countdown above the round table transforms into a tally of the votes, which irrefutably confirm Blitzo as having the most votes. As he tries to question what’s going to happen next, he suddenly vanishes, leaving behind a cloud of thick smoke. The votecount then itself disappears, promptly being replaced by a projected screen broadcasting what appears to be an interview studio, with Lucifer and Blitzo seated in direct view of the camera.
“Aaaaand we’re live!”
“So I.M.P, huh. Remind me what that stands for, again?”
“Oh so now you’re willing to talk to me? Yeah, well I think I’m just gonn- Wait a minute, did that guy say we’re live? Holy shit! Hey, all of you.” Blitzo gestures towards the camera. “Need someone back on Earth dead ASAP? Just call I.M.P - that’s the Immediate Murder Professionals and we’ll sort it for ya! You can find us at-”
Blitzo halts his sentence, seemingly choking on his words as the camera pans back to Lucifer, whose fist is clenched and his characteristic grin has been substituted by an expression of disapproval.
“Ah, so I have you to thank for the overpopulation crisis. You are really causing me hell here!”
Blitzo gasps for air as the invisible chokehold on him is released.
“Can I ask if that was that really necessary I mean I’m just trying to do a little showbiz here you don’t need to get your shitty force magic ou-”
Lucifer’s grin begins to fade again.
“Alright alright, fine, sure, whatever - just ask your questions so I can get back to killing shitheads.”
“So tell me, how it felt when all of your friends betrayed you like the piece of shit that you are!”
“The hell kinda question is that- uh okay I don’t fuckin’ know I guess but I can’t believe they voted me out before Moxxie, I mean seriously what the hell do they think he can do other than defend Millie for literally no reason other than because they’re fuckbuddies. Wait, can they see this? Please don’t tell me they can see this-”
