There’s only two sources of poison in this game: No-Dashii, which Mittens is mostly insulated from by virtue of me and Chariot, and Xaan, which can be worked around.

I know I have been dunking on Hippo, but I personally don’t like how Jarek hasn’t been very active despite being alive. If he was dead like Kiiruma, then I wouldn’t have cared, but no: Jarek is still alive. How is it possible that Hippo -the outed Evil ever since D1- is more active than the second top suspect?
