Fortune teller information states they are not currently the demon. They could be a scarlet woman, or a No Dashii, but they could also be the goblin and win upon being executed. If we nominate them, they will probably just claim goblin.

Drunkenness and poisoning are the main source of interference with abilities. A drunk or poisoned character is not directly told that they are drunk/poisoned and cannot affect the game state in any way using their ability, including killing. If a drunk/poisoned character would receive information, then the information they receive is arbitrary, which means the host can decide whether or not to give true information. The drunk/poisoning status lasts indefinitely unless stated otherwise.

In this particular setup, Evil has 1 Demon and 1 Minion. The game ends immediately with Good victory if the Demon dies.

Hippo attempted to guess me as Damsel. If I was Damsel and he was Minion, then the game would have ended immediately in Evil victory.

I am not Damsel, but why would Good!Hippo do that? Whatever his “reasoning” (or rather, excuse) is, if it was supposed to be believable, then it would’ve already been told at D1.

We are currently at D2, and Hippo still doesn’t (and can’t) have a reason to claim Minion if he were Good. Therefore, Hippo is Evil.

But what type of Evil is Hippo? Guessing a Damsel is game-ending if done by a Minion. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume Hippo is a Minion. While we can kill Hippo, it is easier to ignore him and instead focus on hunting the Demon.

What poiosn means

Poison is applied by evil characters, drunkedness is applied by good characters for the most part. But they mean the same thing.

If you have a mechanical based ability then it cannot function.
If you would gain information you can receive true information, you can receive false information.
