Ice Cream Mafia 2 - Day 4 (8/14)

You can dislike my take on whispers all you want. It -just like my vote- won’t change.

This feels like a towny read.

Leafia, huh… I have a personal method to read Leafia. An outdated method that stems from my home community. I don’t remember the credibility of this method, but I will still use it anyway.

…so anyhow, this method requires time, so there’s nothing to do for me at the moment when it comes to reading her.

Zone, I don’t like playing mafia, so you take over and play for me. Give a read on Ori and tell us who we should all be voting.

And it can’t be chomps

I’m going to go eat ice cream and do literally anything else while you do that. This game feels like it’s going to be a slog for me, I don’t like that a non zero amount of my reads this game are focused around people not properly understanding the mechanics of the game in a way which I think would have been clarified to them by their partners. I also think that there is going to be bare bones reasons for reading people early on compared to other games. I’m okay with town reading Leafia and Brad right now. If either of them changes course later on I’ll try to figure out what that means for their alignment. I think Gar’s confusion with regards to mechanics, plus their attempt at giving a read, is townie, but I don’t think this is the game where we should be locking reads and full sending it considering how bare bones it’s going to be. I want to see what Chomps and Zone does without auto clearing them for existing and being themselves. I want to see how Pandora renters. I want to see how Ori tries to solve with this game state. That’s pretty much all what I’m thinking right now.

Oh yeah, and I think spooky is good enough at the game to where I’ll probably be able to read them based off their reads this game. Hopefully. That’s the plan. That’s about it.

Oh and finally I think people should be protecting people with choclate and or strawberry. If you don’t think you are going to be checked or masons. Look at the game and ask yourself who’s the most likely to be attacked (protect by post count become professional expert pbpcbpe)

Wdym you– …Litten, are you goading me to play the game by either emulating myself or acting like someone else?

(No, Zone. We’ll save that paranoia for another Day. It’s too early for paranoia.)

…sigh. Anyhow, personally I don’t understand what others think about Oricorio, but I see nothing besides the culture clash. GTH he can die.

My vote on Chomps is 25% a bit / a play; there doesn’t seem to be anyone actually sus yet. I figured I might as well stay on him until more people show up.

More than half of all players have shown up, but I haven’t seen anyone sus.

(I’m starting to low-key wonder if I can even perceive anything as suspicious anymore, considering how broad my perspective has become. As of late, I have come to accept that “it is okay that other people’s opinions differ from my own”.)
((…which makes me more passive than ever.))

This litten guy is pretty fantastic. He should do reads more often. What do you think about spooky?

*loads the steps in my head*
It’s not that I don’t understand how important prot-votes are. It’s not that I don’t understand how I should choose whom I wish to protect.

My issue is that I fear failure. Whether it be because of the anti-claim; because of the paranoia that my vote won’t matter or cause for the wrong person to be protected; because I got conditioned to fear failure–

I can do it; I can vote to protect. But my fears stops me from doing it.

…well, having that said, I won’t let Mafia anti-claim me, so I’ll still gamble my N1 flavor and see where RNGesus brings me.

Worst comes to worst, I’ll spend one minute to think whom I’ll protect, and just send it.

townyyy

this is sooooo towny. hi zone ^.^

I’ll be real here: I didn’t pay attention to him since his posts didn’t mention me enough.

*skims his ISO*

Started with a scumread on Oricorio and interacted with multiple people afterwards. I forgot how he played at NUF (in the game where I crashed out after getting betrayed by him) ((I was correct for the wrong reasons; I got force-subbed-out without warning)) (bad times), but my impression of him is that he wouldn’t attract this much aggro if he were Mafia. So for the time being I’m townreading him. (That is, until he fades away into the background.)

Hi. State your reasons to vote yourself.
(Don’t get me wrong; I love people voting.)
((But not when it involves… “a certain category of breaking the rules”.))
