i stand by this even if your alignment is mafia. think that ate d2 was pretty egregious and soon as i say something about it i get told to tone it down. everybody in game seemed to be fine with it as well

I donât think Zone excessively AtEd (I skimmed all of his posts, and read those around tepig, but I didnât read all in depth)*
People go 10 times farther on MU than on FoL (as someone who plays on both sites)
Itâs also worth noting that Zone is neurodivergent (I think? Iâm pretty sure?) which comes with the baggage of being interpreted as worse than intended

So⊠about tepig⊠I was genuinely upset at the lack of arguments coming from him. I wouldnât say I appealed to othersâ emotions, but I sure as hell was emotional when I received âno snooze one-linersâ from him.
I wonât say that he had only given one-liners, but it was particularly those posts that triggered me to no ends. It is uh⊠what do you call it⊠âperformativeâ. (And I wasnât even Town; his posts genuinely looked bad to me regardless of my alignment.)
Also, townreading someone because of meta is stupid. Not because it is stupid to read people based on their meta, but the entire argument was literally:
He didnât say âI remember Brad [exerting this type of behavior] at another game when we played together. Here is the [link] to that game as proof.â
It was one singular word, and Iâm meant to somehow have an opinion on that? I canât even agree or disagree, because there was nothing further given. Suppose you donât know how to read Player X, yet the only one who claims to be able to read Player X says that Player X is Town because of âmetaâ. Nobody else supported it; just some rando claims âmeta says Player X is Townâ.
Now granted, in hindsight -now that I have cooled down- I could have asked for more context, but in the heat of the moment -after seeing him complain about the lack of players and fluffposting- I was not exactly what anyone could consider âcalmâ.
âŠsigh. I canât guarantee I wonât snap my fuse again in the future, but while Iâm calm now at least, I will continue offering my apologies to tepig. I donât like his play style, but what I did was unacceptable, and I shouldnât have gone that far.

katze is one of the stupidest players Iâve ever seen. Literally every time I play with them they make some sort of dumb read that no one understands and get upset at people for not listening. I wish she would just quit the site.

Just because itâs not clear where your disgust at pointed at. Disgust at tepig, or disgust at his reasoning. âI am disgusted at your reasonings / argument / postâ - I donât think that is that out of line, even though it isnât polite.
Maybe tepig interpreted it as âI am disgusted at you personally (tepig)â?

@anon80168131 This probably resolves the miscommunication; I donât think that Zone meant to say disgust at you (tepig, the person). Imagine a neurodivergent guy who is extremely passionate about Mafia. When the special interest is disregarded there can be a sharp reaction, but it is different than, like, a neurotypical person specifically trying to talk shit to another person out of, say, sadism, or take out their anger on them

Brad is Town. Why? Meta.
Tepig is Mafia. Why? Disgust.
Humans tend to use bias to fill in the blanks, and those âfillingsâ can differ per person. I donât need my interpretation of âmetaâ; I need tepigâs interpretation of âmetaâ.
Why is Brad Town? What games did you play together? What behavior is Brad exerting that he has done in the past as Town?
The answers to these questions were condensed into one word: âmetaâ.
I donât care if he thinks âone-liners are not snoozersâ; I need answers, and he didnât give it to me!
(Side-topic: This is why I appreciated Skrimâs response. When I was struggling with Leafiaâs answers, he gave me concise answers instead of vague answers like: âI already said that.â)

i myself struggle with understanding what people are trying to say in their posts sometimes & iâll ask them to rephrase/repeat what theyâre saying until it clicks for me, so i totally get it đ«Ą
