there’s a real analysis explanation i like
Delta epsilon
khm
I was gonna make the same joke but it’s funnier when you say it
92 blocks…
the only explanation I like is the actual definition for what we mean by the “…”
7x8x8
shur up
You don’t need real analysis! Repeating decimals are rational therefore 0.9999… is rational. Rational numbers are, by definition, any number that can be represented as the ratio of 2 integers. Any fractional representation of 0.9999… is also a representation of 1.
oh i thought you were correcting me for calling it 7x10x10
yea
the corners are scaring me
It’s like ~intuitive to me that if 0.3333…=1/3 0.9999…=1 I don’t really get why people are so upset by it I mean I get it but I don’f
yeah but using real analysis is fun
i just hate it
it doesn’t make sense that one number equals another even though they’re visually different numbers
Per Atlasology 1/3=/=3/9
im giving visual Aid of the cube because i like understand How to handle corners but they do also scare me
also don’t go acting like this is some problem that’s exclusive to my perception.
one isn’t a prime number. what the heck is with that
