my actual doctor knows fr not much at all, and she said as much, she was basically like āyeah i was assigned like every trans person at this clinic and I am trying to learnā
but also that means she was like āyeah okayā to anything i asked basically which was p dope. Also she is notably non-gatekeepy about hrt so she is fr a homie.

i went to a queer specific clinic that was founded by a gay man, and staffed entirely by queer people. they made it entirely clear to me that they had patients basically on every regime under the sun, and if i wanted to take bica or whatever, they were down to clown. i had a long conversation with my doctor about various treatment options, and she made a compelling case for spiro at the time, and why bica was not their first choice (they anecdotally just thought it was worse). they also got concerned about sublingual E, and was going to run a study about it possibly being carcinogenic before Florida Floridaād.
