Pretty much every billionaire made by the very, very lucrative fashion industry isn’t hated
Fashion brands have a very strong pressure to be as ethical as possible
Starting a new fashion brand in 2024 that isn’t vegan and cruelty free is like, unviable really (and also completely unnecessary)

So people like Rihanna (Fenty Beauty) or Selena (Rare Beauty) aren’t hated imo

Another reason is that the Fashion industry is a consumer cyclical industry so has little room to “bleed” people for their money

As much as I hate to admit it, yes, I could live without my Lush Dream Cream and go with another alternative if it gets too expensive or becomes inaccessible to me, but diabetics couldn’t go without their insulin.

Basically the millions made by fashion companies tend to be much more ethical millions than many other industries

It’s people spending disposable income and something you think about AFTER having bought all of your essentials
