oh yeah no that game is in a technical sense awful like
QoL features were not at all considered necessary in the development of that game
it’s like it was developed entirely by artists & writers with no programming experience or playing-games experience at all, but they happened to decide making a game was the best medium for their art & writing

i’m mainly having trouble because i can’t exactly control my short term memory and there’s a significant amount of stuff that can just make you Lose even if you play perfectly
