oh wait its always the backstreet butchers im fighting
yeah thats a telltale sign of needing a sand potion
Idk, I donāt think itās stuck-up to hear about a show a lot and hear that shows I like were influenced by it (Gundam Witch and Kill La Kill are notable examples that are loudly evoking Utena), and I wanted to have that context so I could better engage with the works that it influenced and try to understand why.
Otās based on the level of the books
Iām just speaking about the kind of taste that causes somebody to like Disco Elysium over like Fortnite or whatever. Itās not literallg stuck-up butitās you know. Literary-ish
Like I forget what the early ones are called but Urban Legend vs Urban Plague etc
Sure. That I agree with. Like I love Dungeon Meshi, but it did not provide cultural commentary that I still think about.
yeah
I havenāt even played Disco Elysium but it does seem like exactly my kind of shit, at least in theory.
Iāve also been playing Path of Exile 2 which has basically no literary value, but I just enjoy the gameplay, so itās not even like a mutually exclusive thing like you have to pick Fortnite or Disco Elysium.
may my amicable acquaintance have you heard of void stranger
you should play void stranger
i need more people to play void stranger so that when i write the essay about it next year thereās people who actually care about it to read it
disco elysium is basically fortnite
they should put a harrier du bois skin in fortnite and have it be the only skin that is mechanically worse than every other skin in the game
every time you chug jug as harrier du bois it gives you the minecraft nausea effect. becuase its alcohol for him and only for him
hey guys did you know in endgame tony stark dies
(the essay is about how void stranger is one of the most transfem games ever made completely by accident. and the essay also may or may not be a meditation on my own experineces with transphobia in the UK)
i donāt know. Only a memory will remain.
im terrified
what was the gameplay of void stranger again
